The Cascade Surge partnered with Swegle and Washington Elementary Schools to bring Sammy's Team on campus this May.  Eighteen Surge Players became instant celebrities as they visited the two schools in full uniform.  The players have served as excellent role models to students by reading with them, helping them solve math problems, and by being friends during lunch and recess.  During PE classes they hosted action packed soccer clinics to teach soccer skills and to instill values of respect, integrity and teamwork.

How cool is it to show a Surge Soccer Player your best soccer move? They offered coupons to the staff and students for the Surge vs Kitsap Pumas Game at McCulloch on June 3rd - with one half of the amount collected from the coupons being donated back to the school.  The Surge also donated 12 tickets so that a group of Adam Stephens Middle School Guys could attend the game.  The bus ride back on The Salem First Free Bus was a blast - happy kids still talking about the game and checking out the autographs they had collected from the players.

Many thanks to the Cascade Surge for investing in our youth!
