Lana McCoy

Lana was born in Salem and attended Sprague High School. Lana attended Asbury University in Kentucky and fell in love with and married a boy that she met there named Chris. She joined a municipal insurance company before their story took them from Kentucky to Serbia, Belgium, and then to Germany for Chris’ job. Chris and Lana’s boy/girl twins (Maks and Lorelei) were born in Germany before work brought the family back to Kentucky for a 6-year stint. As fate would have it, Lana’s family moved back to Salem to be close to family. (Her only parenting hack is to live close to grandparents.) Lana now works for the Family YMCA of Marion and Polk Counties in the Resource Development Department, and she loves it.
